I am all set to test Edel's Single Length Irons this summer. One of my wife's best friend's husband works for Edel and he told me that I have to try them.

I told him that I didn't have a big interest in a full set of single length irons, BUT I would try to fit in single length 4-7 irons.

The idea is fairly simple...all of the irons are the length of a 7 iron. Now I kind of like the idea for long irons, but I have no interest in swinging a PW the length of a 7 iron.

If I can get anywhere in the vicinity of my normal distances I will make the change. How could you not be a better player.

How could you not be a better player? Oh I don't know. If this was the miracle cure then why isn't everyone using it???

Everyone conforms. Marketing and money drives consumers. Are you more accurate with a 7 iron than a 3 iron? The length of the shaft is a major factor.

That's what she said. The Edel irons compensate by have stronger lofts. What do you do to compensate:)
