BY painfully slow, a normally 3 hour to 3 hour 15 minute round becoming 6 hours.

Anyway, worse, being behind an incredibly slow group and having some censored censored, censored censored, censored, bang one off the cart as I'm preparing to hit my layup after crushing a drive on a par 5.

Getting behind a group who won't let you play through because they are "playing a match" and don't want to be interrupted.

Driving to course on 2 lane windy road-car in front of me doing 30 in 45 zone-too dangerous to pass-lo and behold the car turns into my course, stops at bag drop, bags unloaded when 3 0f 4 occupants decide to put spikes on at bag drop-and guess who had the 8:50 tee time right before my 9:00 tee time? By time they walked off first green, the group(s) in front of then were on third green-guess who played a 35 minute one hole round that day? I LOVE tourists!!!!

I don't think the guys in the slow group had a clue or a care.
Showed up on the 6th tee, we were the third group waiting for them to make their 2nd? third? fourth? shot?

Playing with a guy who yells at squirrels.

Is he in the woods enough to know the squirrels by name?

Ring :
Hello, clubhouse..
You have 12 players waiting on 4 duffers on the #6 tee box. We've all decided that if you don't send a marshall out to get them moving, we're all coming back to the clubhouse to demand a full refund.

You have 5 minutes.

There's nothing wrong with following a painfully slow group in front of you. You just need to make the best of it.

Egor, Scott Harris, fatsvdb and JoeDon will attest to this:
Recently while playing at Penn National for our annual golf trip we had 10 players. A foursome followed by 2 threesomes. I was in the middle group. Somewhere halfway through the front 9 things became painfully slow and we were constantly waiting on our foursome waiting in front of us. So our two threesomes joined to make a group of 6. Yet, we were STILL waiting on our first group of four who were waiting on the group in front of them. By about the 9th or 10th hole our entire group of 10 formed ONE group and we all played the remaining holes together. Believe it or not, even as a group of 10 we STILL waited on the slow group in front of ours on every hole. It was a blast and made even more interesting the further into the alcohol we got.

The highlight was teeing off in a group of 2 fives simultaneously!

Today was somewhat better. Decided to look at it as entertainment. Group in front of us, par 5. Guy is 260 from the green. Waits for the green to clear, only to hit the ball 110 yds.

Guys that complain about it constantly, only making it worse.
