Holes: 18

SFGT Golfers: You must message me a list (in preferential order) of 10 golfers that you wish to pair with during the event. This list will be used to assign golfers their professional partners and will be assigned in order of the point standings at the conclusion of the SFGT US Open. Good luck!

Rickie!! Finally we become a team!

Your life is about to change for the better boy. Food will taste better and putts will drop. Just ask Will McGirt.

I can't believe I am finally seeing the day when Jay is paired with Rickie in the ProAm: after all these years of trying! You boys better deliver or your fans are going to be majorly disappointed... Just sayin'. :)

Karma's a b*tch! You'll plan to have Rickie as your partner and at the last minute he'll drop out and spend the day with his college buddy. Ring a bell???

SCORING CALCULATION CHANGE

So when I worked it out in my head, it made sense. Then I ran some numbers and realized that the SFGT player score didn't really account for the difficulty of the course through the rating. If we all played the same course from the same tees, it would have worked great, but we obviously don't, so we will be keeping the Pro-Am scoring more in line with the other tournament scoring systems.

*NEW CALCULATION*
PRO AM SCORE = SFGT GROSS TO TARGET + PGA OPEN AVG ROUND TO PAR

So, for example, let's say Golfer A is a 10 handicap, plays a course rated 70 with a slope of 120, and shoots a gross 85. His target score would be: 80.6. His score relation to target would be +4.4.

His partner shoots 276, which averages to 69. The par is 70 for The Open Championship, so the pro's score would be -1.

We combine these two scores and the Pro-Am score would be -3.4.

Hope this makes sense. Good luck everyone.
